南洋理工大学Dr.Xiaodong Chen教授和山东大学刘宏教授做客我校“理学之美”前言论坛

       831日下午南洋理工大学Dr.Xiaodong Chen教授和山东大学刘宏教授做客我校理学之美前言论坛,在理化楼401分别做了题为《Rational Design of Structural Materials for Functional Stretchable Sensors》和《纳米结构介导的物理信号对干细胞命运的调控》的报告,报告会由姜建壮老师主持。

       Dr.Xiaodong Chen教授报告简介:Flexible devices, which can accommodate strain and maintain high performance under deformation, enrich lifestyle by providing enchanced smart functions, and also provide health information by monitoring body conditions. However, the crucial aspects toward the advancement of this direction include the development of novel mechanically durable materials, flexible and stretchable substrates, deformable electrodes and circuits, system integration, and so on. In this talk, I will present our latest progress in rational design of structural materials, individual devices development, and integration for fabricating the stretchable functional devices, which include sensors, memory devices and mechanoplasmonic devices.

       刘宏教授报告简介:刘宏教授指出利用材料的物理特性调控干细胞的定向分化是近年来组织工程和再生医学领域的重点研究方向。实际上,人体内组织和细胞与其环境中的天然微、纳米结构有着相互作用,并在一定程度上决定了组织的形态与功能,而材料表面纳米结构或者颗粒状纳米材料对干细胞的命运有非常重要的调控作用。刘宏教授课题组设计和合成的二氧化钛纳米棒阵列结构,可以促进骨髓来源间充质干细胞向成骨细胞分化,提高植入材料的骨诱导性。更重要的是,该课题组利用微加工与化学合成相结合的方法,在二氧化钛陶瓷材料的光滑表面生长了图案化二氧化钛纳米棒阵列,实现在同一材料上利用纳米结构在不同位置生长不同的细胞,首次实现了干细胞在同一材料上的定位定向分化,在同一材料体系中多细胞构建和植入材料的细胞工程化设计和应用方面具有重要的理论价值和应用前景。此外,刘宏课题组首次实现了利用铌酸锂纳米晶的倍频效应以及石墨烯量子点的荧光特性分别在近红外脉冲激光和普通激光共聚焦显微镜下对干细胞的成像标记,并研究了干细胞内吞铌酸锂纳米晶体或者石墨烯量子点后对干细胞分化的影响。该研究拓展了铌酸锂等倍频纳米晶体和石墨烯量子点在生物领域的应用,在干细胞成像、组织修复示踪等方向有着重要的应用价值。

       主讲人简介:Dr. Xiaodong Chen is the Associate Chair in the School of Materials Science and Engineering, and founding Director of Innovative Centre for Flexible Devices at NTU. He received his B.S. degree (Honors) in chemistry from Fuzhou University in 1999, M.S. degree (Honors) in physical chemistry from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2002, and Ph.D. degree in biochemistry from Univeristy of Muenster (Germany) in 2006. After his postdoctoral fellow working at Northwestern University (USA), he started his independent research career as Nanyang Assistant Professor at Nanyang Technological University since 2009. He was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in Sept 2013, then Full Professor in Sept 2016. His research interests include interactive materials and devices, integrated nanobio interface and programmable materials for energy conversion. Currently, he is the Associate Editor of Nanoscale and Scientific Editor of Nanoscale Horizons. In addition, he is the member of editorial advisory board of Advanced Materials, Small Methods, Advanced Materials Technology, et al. He was conferred as the Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry in 2016. He was awarded more than ten prestigious awards and fellowships.

       刘宏,山东大学晶体材料国家重点实验室和济南大学交叉科学研究院(IAIR)教授,博士生导师,国家杰出青年科学基金获得者。中国硅酸盐学会晶体生长分会理事,中国光学学会材料专业委员会会员理事,中国材料研究学会纳米材料与器件分会理事。主要研究方向:人工晶体材料、纳米能源材料、组织工程与干细胞分化等。主持了包括十五、十一五、十二五863、十三五国家重点研发项目和自然基金重大项目、自然基金重点项目在内的十余项国家级科研项目,取得了重要进展。2004至今,在包括Adv.Mater.,Nano Letters,ACS Nano,J.Am.Chem.Soc,Adv.Fun.Mater,Envir.Eng.Sci.,等学术期刊上发表SCI文章200余篇,其中,影响因子大于10的近30篇,个人文章总被引次数超过10000次,H因子为48,17篇文章被Web of ScienceWSIEssential Science Indicators)选为过去十年高被引用论文Highly Cited Paperslast 10 years)),文章入选2013年中国百篇最具影响国际学术论文,2015年度进入英国皇家化学会期刊“Top1%高被引中国作者榜单。应邀在化学顶尖期刊Chemical Society Review和材料顶尖期刊Advanced MaterialsAdcanced Energy Materials上发表综述性学术论文,在国际上产生重要影响。授权专利30余项,研究成果已经在相关产业得到应用。
